Safety
Safety, standards and compliance
Inspection work puts our technicians on lift towers, in shafts, over water and inside operating plants. How we control that risk matters as much as the results we produce.
Frameworks
The standards and programmes we work within
These are the frameworks that shape our field procedures and documentation. Ask us for current documentation for your prequalification system and we will supply what applies to your site.
CSA
CSA Group standards
Canadian standards set much of the acceptance criteria for the equipment we inspect, from lifting devices and rigging through to ropeways and structural welding. Inspections reference the applicable CSA standard for the asset.
CCOHS
Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety
CCOHS guidance informs how our crews plan hazardous work — access, rope work, energy isolation and working alongside operating equipment.
WorkSafeBC
WorkSafeBC
As a British Columbia company, our field work follows the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation administered by WorkSafeBC, including requirements around inspection of lifting equipment and safe work procedures.
Avetta
Avetta contractor prequalification
Many owners manage contractor compliance through Avetta. We can work within that process so our documentation reaches your prequalification file the way your own system expects.
ISNetworld
ISNetworld contractor prequalification
Where a client manages contractors through ISNetworld, our safety documentation and records can be supplied through that channel as part of onboarding.
